The ic loudspeakers from PRO are designed to be mounted into existing ceilings or 2" x 6" stud walls (without back box) from inside the room. Like the im and iw models, the ic models employ professional woofers and compression drivers units for maximum power handling and output capability. The ic models will fit between 12" on-center joists in either orientation.

First, a single-piece loudspeaker unit is installed into the ceiling or wall opening and then a frameless, less-than-0.2”-thick grille cover is installed over the loudspeaker for a near invisible installation. The finished appearance of ic models matches that of the im and iw models so that they may be combined in harmony within a single room. The grille covers can be painted or covered with cloth to match any décor.
